Learning Beyond the Classroom Walls

Study in Israel

I'm Shlomo (Momo) Lifshitz, I'm the founder and CEO of Lirom Global Education (Study in Israel LLC) and hope to fulfill the vision of making Israel a center of global education by bringing oversea students to study abroad in Israel, the Start-Up Nation. In my past, I founded and ran Oranim Educational Initiatives for 25 years bringing almost 150,000 young people to various trips to Israel.

Part of Lirom's mission is to enable students to truly become citizens of the global community. By immersing into the land, language and culture of Israel, students gain far more than can be taught within the classroom walls.  They discover the most beautiful locations in the most religiously significant country, enjoy classes with the brightest minds in some of the top universities, and make extraordinary memories as they live, learn and study abroad in Israel.

Visit the most beautiful beaches in the Middle East

Warm and soft white sand, beautiful seashells and crashing, glimmering waves alongside lively beachfront promenades, and bustling restaurants and cafés are just some of the features you can find along the coast of Israel.  From the southern beaches of Ashdod to the trendy and lively beaches of Tel Aviv, all the way up to Caesarea (the historical city of Caesar by the sea) and the Carmel Mountains, the Mediterranean beaches are known around the world for their unique beauty and history – so why not check them out for yourself?

Float in the Dead Sea

The Dead Sea is the lowest place on earth, dipping almost 1,500 feet below sea level. It is the saltiest body of water on earth, making it uninhabitable for animals (hence the name). Whether floating in the water over the summer or warming up on a cold day with mineral infused mud, visiting the Dead Sea is one of Israel’s must-have experiences.

Snorkel and Scuba Dive in the Red Sea

If coral reefs and silent waves call your name, then no trip to Israel will be complete without an excursion to Eilat. With pristine beaches, clear waters, beautiful underwater sea life and great weather year round, Eilat is the must-see site for water sport aficionados. Love the water, but don’t want to get your feet wet? Eilat boasts wonderful underwater aquariums as well. The local airport makes commuting a breeze. So what are you waiting for? Come on down.

Explore the old city of Jerusalem

One can’t visit Israel without exploring the old city of Jerusalem. The religious center of the world, home to the holy sites of Islam, Christianity and Judaism, has plenty to offer for any type of traveler. Take a moment to marvel at the magnitude of the Western Wall, explore the Church of the Holy Sepulchre or be awed by the Dome of the Rock. Between the ancient cracks of the streets lie history, excitement, an international atmosphere and fun.

Spend a night in the city that never sleeps

Move over NYC! There is a new city that never sleeps in the Middle East! Tel Aviv nightlife is legendary throughout Israel and around the world. With countless bars, nightclubs, restaurants, and shops, one for every 127 people in the city, the Tel Aviv scene never shut’s down. While Tel Aviv has much to offer the night owls, don’t miss out on some of the exciting daytime activities such as museums, parks, festivals and concerts. Come experience Tel Aviv for yourself!
